Nike Basketball Elite Finishing Holiday Camp was a huge success thanks to all of the hard work, energy and passion the athletes brought over the past week! Over the course of the camp we explored, broke down, and mastered more than 15 ways to finish at the rim. Learning how to progress from doing a new finish by yourself, to implement it during competition, each day athletes embraced the challenges as we raised the bar. Thank you to all of the athletes and families for making this such a memorable experience and a special thank you to Union Basketball.

Adriano Catena
Director of Basketball Operations & Head Coach

Adriano Catena is a former professional basketball player with over 10 years experience coaching high school, university and professional aged athletes. Adriano holds a BA Communications degree and has been certified as a Mental Performance Training Coach. He is currently the Director of Operations and Head Coach at The Vancouver Basketball Academy ™ and an Assistant Coach at the UBC Women’s Basketball program. Adriano is passionate about coaching and inspiring people around him to be the best version of themselves.

Megan Pinske
Head Coach

Megan Pinske is a former university, Canadian National Team and professional athlete with over 12 years’ experience coaching both collegiate and high school aged athletes. Megan holds a Masters of Coaching degree from the University of Alberta and has coached with three Provincial Basketball Organizations; BC, Alberta & Saskatchewan. She is currently the VP of Community Impact at The Vancouver Basketball Foundation™. Megan is passionate about teaching and inspiring young athletes to love the game and stay active.
